January 2006

• Sunday, January 8:  Rehearsal in the UALR Fine Arts building, choir room from 2:15 to 4 pm.  (For a campus map, click here.)

• Saturday, January 14: Twelfth Night Ball and Revel, The ball will be held at the Albert Pike Memorial Temple, 712 Scott Street in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, 72201.  If you are playing for this event, would you please arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 p.m.  The Aeolus Recorder Konsort will play from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. and during the first intermission.

• Workshop with Frances Blaker: March 3-4 (Friday and Saturday)

  • Saturday, March 4: Workshop with Frances Blaker: 10:00 to 12:00 noon and 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.: "Music of Tudor England".

    For Saturday, March 4, we have reserved the Darragh Center auditorium in the Main Library of the Central Arkansas Library System, which is near shops, restaurants, and the William J. Clinton Presidential Center in the River Market District.  The Main Library is located at 100 Rock Street, Little Rock, AR 72201.

May 2006

• Saturday, May 6, 10:30 a.m.: Gathering at Wiederkehr Winery with Bella Vista Recorder Consort, and Hot Springs Village Recorder Consort and begin playing at 10:30 a.m., until  lunch at 12:30 p.m. and then play again after lunch until 3:00 or 3:30.  (Click on the link to Wiederkehr for directions to the winery and their RV park or other places to stay.)
