UALR is Arkansas’ metropolitan university, located in the cultural, political, medical, financial, and geographic center of the state. The university’s graduate and professional programs enroll approximately 1 in 5 students at UALR. That puts UALR at the top among Arkansas’ colleges and universities in the percentage of students who are enrolled in graduate and professional programs.
