January 2004

• Saturday, January 10: Twelfth Night Ball and Revel, The ball will be held at the Albert Pike Memorial Temple, 712 Scott Street in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, 72201.  If you are playing for this event, would you please arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 p.m.  The Aeolus Recorder Konsort will play from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. and during the first intermission.

• Sunday, December 12: 3:30 p.m. Opening Festival of Lights Ceremony, with recorder players from Hot Springs Village, at Garvan Woodland Gardens along Lake Hamilton near Hot Springs, Arkansas.  [Directions from I-30 West (Little Rock): Take I-30 Exit 97 (Lake Catherine exit).  Turn right toward Lake Catherine (Hwy. 171).  Travel approximately 7 miles to junction of 290/Hwy. 171.  Turn left on 290.  Travel approximately 1.5 miles to Rockport Road, turn right.  This road takes you to Carpenter Dam Road.  Cross Carpenter Dam Road to Arkridge Road.  Follow Arkridge Road about one mile into the Garden parking lot.]
