The MarcoPolo program provides no-cost, standards-based Internet content for the K-12 teacher and classroom, developed by the nation's content experts. Online resources include panel-reviewed links to top sites in many disciplines, professionally developed lesson plans, classroom activities, materials to help with daily classroom planning, and powerful search engines.

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) is an independent, student-based organization which promotes the exploration and development of space. SEDS pursues this mission by educating people about the benefits of space, by supporting a network of interested students, by providing an opportunity for members to develop their leadership skills, and by inspiring people through involvement in space-related projects. SEDS believes in a space-faring civilization and that focusing the enthusiasm of young people is the key to our future in space

The George Lucas Educational Foundation
This site offers useful resources and information on the ways computers and
network technology can enhance peoples' efforts to improve their communities,
schools, and lives. The site also contains Edutopia, an on-line newsletter;
the current issue highlights the ways technology can assist people with
disabilities to create and learn.
The George Lucas Educational Foundation (GLEF) is a nonprofit operating
foundation that gathers and disseminates the most innovative models of K-12
teaching and learning in the Digital Age. WThey serve this mission through
the creation of media--from films, books and newsletters, to CD-ROMS and
Web-based materials. They use digital technology to act as a Web-based
multimedia resource center, providing hundreds of powerful examples of
learning and teaching already successful in our nation's schools. This
information is provided on demand to a worldwide audience in an effort to
stimulate active involvement and guide choices in school reform. The
audience includes teachers, administrators, school board members, other
elected officials, parents, researchers, and business and community leaders.

The North Central Regional Educational Laboratory (NCREL) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping schools -- and the students they serve--reach their full potential. One of ten Regional Educational Laboratories, we provide research-based resources and assistance to educators, policymakers, and communities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
