wav2au.zip
This program convert .wav file to .au format. The conversion is not totally
automatic. You can create Windows wave file easily with Sounder Recorder
program that comes with Windows 95. Sound Recorder is normally located under
"Programs -> Accessories -> Multimedia -> Sound Recorder".
Open the wave file, then click "Save As". Give a new filename
if you like, then click "Change" button. In the "format"
field, select "CCITT u-Law" format. Attribute area should display
"8,000 Hz, 8 Bit, Mono 8 Kb/s". Save it. Now type:
The output file is "wavefile.au". If you type the wav2au without
given the input filename, a usage is printed.
