WebCT (Web Course Tools) is a set of interactive tools designed to deliver courses online. WebCT is accessed through a browser on the Internet. WebCT was originally developed by the University of British Columbia in the mid 1990's and is presently being used by universities and colleges all over the world. UALR adopted WebCT in 1997, and supports WebCT as the delivery platform for its web-based (totally online) and web-enhanced courses.
