Your First Presentation
- Open Microsoft PowerPoint

- Save your presentation in a location you can find it. (a new folder named PowerPoint on your USB Drive would be a good place to start)
- Create three new slides by right clicking on the first slide in the slides tab and select new slide.

- In the Presentation Options Pane, select the Slide Design option from the drop down on the top right.
- Select a single slide thumbnail on the Slides tab.
- In the Slide Design task pane, click a template thumbnail to apply the template to all slides.

- In the Presentation Options Pane, select the color schemes option from the drop down on the top right.
- Select and Apply a Color Scheme.
- In the Presentation Options Pane, select the Slide layout option from the drop down on the top right.
- To apply a layout to a specific slide, select the slide you wish to alter and then select a layout to apply from the slide layout panel.

- Set a different layout for each of the slides.
- Add placeholder content to each of the slides.
- Save the file.
Note: If you would like to explore further, feel free to try slide transitions and custom animation. They are located in the Presentation Options Pane in the drop down on the top right.
