Wordmaster
Understanding Your Wordmaster
The wordmaster part of your brain makes words and meaning out of letters and then puts the new words into your memory. Most of the time your wordmaster works on automatic, just like your legs work when you ride a bicycle.
The wordmaster has three tasks:
1. Sounding out new words so you can pronounce them.
2. Figuring out the meaning of new words.
3. Working with memory to recognize old words and to remember new words.
