I began studying dance at age 15 or 16 with C. Michael Tidwell at the Centre for the Dansarts. I auditioned for the company with no previous dance experience, and thanks to a combination of Tidwell's eye for potential, and the strength and flexibility I developed in gymnastics, I made the company. The Tidwell Project is a group of young adults ranging from early highschoolers to alumni members that may have been in the company at in point in its ten year history. The Tidwell Project performs at a number of functions annually, including the Arkansas Black Hall Of Fame, and the Centre For the Dansarts annual spring recital.
