Read This First before Appealing Ticket

All students are responsible for being acquainted with the traffic rules and regulations at UALR. Ignorance of vehicle regulations is not a valid reason for appealing a parking violation. These rules and regulations can be found in the Student Handbook which is available on the UALR website. The court relies heavily on the presentation of the written appeal. When writing the appeal: state the facts of your case clearly including any extenuating circumstances you feel merit consideration.

Court Procedures The Student Court will decide whether the appeal is upheld or denied based on the testimony and evidence given. You may attend court to present your appeal in person, however, it is not mandatory. You will be notified electronically at your UALR e-mail address as to the decision of your appeal by the student court. The court is in session every Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the SGA board room and all decisions are emailed to the appellants on the following Monday.
