Senior Justice Exhibits at the 28th Annual Arkansas Aging Conference
The Arkansas Aging Conference for 2008 was held at the Hot Springs Civic and Convention Center, running from the 29th through the 31st of October. The Senior Justice Center operated a booth to exhibit information at the conference on the 29th and 30th. Interns Amanda Carter, Dorena Wise, Josh Logan and Kim Woodward presented material at the Senior Justice Exhibit while seeking to raise awareness about crimes against the elderly and how the UALR Senior Justice Center works to educate seniors, family members and caregivers via research, presenting seminars and the operation of the Senior Justice Hotline (501.683.7153). This conference is sponsored by the Arkansas Association of Area Agencies on Aging and the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services. The event included a Reception on 29 October for participants of the conference.
