Scholarships

The International Writing Centers Association and the South Central Writing Centers Association will be awarding scholarships for registration and travel to the April 2007 IWCA conference in Houston, Texas. Scholarships will range in amount from $75.00 to $250.00. Most scholarships will be awarded to tutors, but two travel awards have been reserved for under-supported writing center directors. Complete and save the appropriate form on your computer and forward it via an email to diepenbrock@uhcl.edu by February 20, 2007.

Volunteers (and reduced registration fees)

Volunteers are also needed for various jobs during the conference. Tutors who volunteer to work two three hour shifts during the conference will pay a reduced registration fee of $50. Submit the volunteer form with your registration.
