The new sculpture garden at the National Gallery is really great, and of course, the Hirshhorn sculpture garden is one of our favorite spots anywhere.

We spent one afternoon with the Blake prints from the Rosenwald Collection in the Print Collection at the East Building of the National Gallery. We also spent some time with the Matisse cutouts.

In contrast, this print is only a few square inches.

Another highlight was our quick morning trip to the zoo, where we saw the baby panda sleeping in a tree, and we saw the hippo getting a mid morning snack, as well as some very cool birds.
