Coursework leading to National Certification

Individuals who already possess some of the competencies required for national certification in Vision Rehabilitation Therapy can complete only those additional courses still needed. Students must meet the same admission requirements as those who apply for the Master's degree program. UALR also offers online masters degrees in Orientation & Mobility and in Rehabilitation Counseling. Many of the courses required for rehabilitation teaching are also required for the Orientation & Mobility and Rehabilitation Counseling degrees. UALR requires a minimum of sixty credit hours for two related master's degrees.
