Hi! My name's Chelsea, and I am here to help you learn everything you can about UALR and make your experience an enjoyable one. I spent my time as an undergrad getting involved in the campus community and making new friends. I was involved in many activities and organizations on campus, including writing for the school paper (the Forum) and participating in PRSSA and SPJ (which are journalism and public relations clubs). Read more about me below, and be sure to call me or email me if you have any questions about UALR, admissions, scholarships or college in general. I am more than happy to help.

Education: B.A. in Journalism from UALR in 2002
Hometown: Born and raised in Benton , Arkansas . I graduated from Benton High School in 1998. Go Panthers! Currently I live in Little Rock.
Hobbies: I'm currently working on my MA Liberal Studies and emphasizing on Rhetoric and Writing and College Student Affairs so I'm pretty busy as it is. But, when I am not on the road or in school, I love to play softball, read, go out with my friends and watch movies.
What I like about UALR: UALR has many great opportunities for its students. Our central location offers wonderful business internships, employment opportunities and loads of recreational entertainment. There are so many opportunities to get you ready for your career on or near campus because the university is very integrated with the community. Not to mention the class sizes and friendly atmosphere.
Advice for prospective students: Get started early and pay attention to deadlines! You don't want to miss out on scholarships, financial aid, admission deadlines or the classes you want to register for simply because you didn't get your information in by the deadline.
