The morning and afternoon sessions
will be held at the Darragh Center, Main
Library (Central Arkansas Library System), 100
Rock Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. Lunch is available at
restaurants near the Main Library and the
Clinton Presidential Center.
Ms. Bixler said:
"Music from
the New World" would include music (early and
contemporary) from Brazil and other South American countries, Fuguing Tunes and other vocal and instrumental pieces by the
American colonial composer William Billings, and twentieth
century American recorder music by LaNoue Davenport. I promise
you that the contemporary music will all be tuneful, jolly, and
not too difficult to play."
Master Class with Ms. Bixler

Everyone is invited to perform in the master class as soloist
or as member of an ensemble. Recorder players with all different levels of
experience are invited to participate and auditors are most welcome. The master class is scheduled for
