"Music Around the North Sea: England, Germany, and the Low Countries " Works from medieval to modern featuring such composers as the ever-popular Anonymous, Dunstable, Byrd, Purcell, Hildegard von Bingen, Senfl, Bach, Dufay, Schop, Sweelinck…and more! We will work on recorder techniques and musical expression within the contexts of compositions by these imaginative composers. Though mainly for recorder players, viols and other instruments are also welcome.
Recorder players of all levels from intermediate through advanced will find plenty of pleasure, challenge and inspiration during this workshop.The Friday session will be held from 3:30 to
8:30 p.m. at
Grace Presbyterian Church,

from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor meeting room of the Cox
Creative Center, 100 Rock Street, Main
Library (Central Arkansas Library System), Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Coffee, snacks, and lunch may be obtained in the Cox Center.
Other restaurants are also available for lunch near the Main Library and the
Clinton Presidential Center.
