Directory information is open to the public. However, a currently enrolled student may request that directory information be withheld by completing an appropriate request form in the Office of Records and Registration. This request will remain in effect until revoked by the student in writing. Should you decide to request the University not to release "Directory or Public Information", any future requests for such information will not be released. This includes the release of information to non-institutional persons as well as campus organizations, including honor organizations.
The University will honor your request to withhold directory information but cannot assume responsibility to contact you for subsequent permission to release the hold. Regardless of the effect upon you, the institution assumes no liability for honoring your instructions that such information be withheld.
