Attendance:                Attendance is required in this course

 

Lecture:           Read  the text assignments before the class period.  The lecturer will use his time for demonstrations, explanations of difficult points of the text and for illustrations of the text material in relation to other areas of interest.  Text material that can be learned by a moderate amount of study on your part may not be repeated in lecture.

 

Grade Calculation:

            4 exam scores                          400 pts

            Comprehensive Final              200 pts

            Laboratory Average                200 pts

 

Final grade Distributions:       90-100%  A

                                                80-89%    B

                                                70-79%    C

                                                60-69%    D

                                                0 - 59%    F

 

There will be NO MAKEUP EXAMS.  All exams will be closed book and closed notes.  You will be allowed to use a non-alphanumeric/programmable calculator and students may not share calculators or use cell phones during quizzes or exams. 

 

The last day to withdraw from this course is May 18.                                                   Final Exam is Monday, May 28 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
