links to other sites as well as many good articles including "Finding
Careers with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology" by Bruce R. Fretz. Excellent site on getting into graduate school,
preparing for the GRE, developing an academic vita, etc.
*www.psywww.com: Psych Web contains a great article
"Careers in Psychology," by Marky
Lloyd, that links to other lists of relevant books, resources, websites
on careers, graduate school, and job listings.
Great resource.
*www.psychologicalscience.org: site of American Psychological Society
contains job listing information as well as a student issues sub-page that
contains information on research-doctorate programs in the U.S.
*www.apa.org/students: site of the American Psychological
Association has a number of rticles for the bachelor, masters and doctorate
graduate on career options. They also
offer a brochure titled Psychology:
Careers for the 21st Century, c. 1996 and a book entitled Getting In: a step-by-step plan for gaining
admission to graduate school in psychology, c. 1993.
www.uni.edu/walsh: a good site containing career information
developed by Dr. Linda Walsh at the University of Northern Iowa. Check out the "Careers/Searching for a
