EVOLVE Admission Testing
Applicants must complete pre-admission advising in order to schedule the A2 examination. The department will provide a pre-admission advising confirmation form.
The test may be scheduled at UALR if you have been advised individually or in a group advising session or at any of the Prometric sites.
It is the applicant’s responsibilty to register for the test through either the UALR Testing Office or the EVOLVE website.
The test must be taken within one year of the date of application; scores are to be submitted with the completed application.

Applicants must take all parts of this exam.
The UALR Department of nursing releases 400 examinations per quarter (October, November, December; January February, March, etc). If you call to register for an exam and there are none left available to take in that quarter, you will need to wait until the next quarter to schedule examinations.
Cumulative Average Point Consideration
Evolve A2 test scores are quantified into the students quality point average using the following scale:
| 20 point addition: | 90% and above |
| 10 point addition: | 80% to 89% |
| 0 points: | 70% to 79% |
| 10 point deduction: | 51-69% |
| 20 point deduction: | 50 and below |
