Meredith Maddox Hicks

Meridith Maddox HicksMeredith Maddox Hicks (Violin/Viola) joins the UALR music faculty after receiving her Master’s degree in Violin Performance and completing Doctoral work at the Florida State University. She also completed a year of study at the Russian Academy of Music, Gnessin Institute, in Moscow, Russia.

Currently, she is a member of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and the Quapaw String Quartet.  Meredith also maintains a large private violin studio and is a member of the Suzuki Association of Central Arkansas.  She is also a member of Arkansas’ only klezmer band, Meshugga.
