Primates

Dr. Hartmann has conducted research on primates. He has studied aging in captive chimpanzees and cognition in the white-handed gibbon and is currently working on a project detailing arthritic changes in the skeletons of captive orangutans. He currently directs the Primate Enrichment Program at the Little Rock Zoo. Dr. Hartmann regularly teaches a course in primatology at UALR.
