Bioarchaeology

Part of Dr. Hartmann's archaeological work is with human remains (bioarchaeology). He has excavated and/or studied human remains from various sites around the world and is currently excavating a historic cemetery in central Missouri. In addition to his research, Dr. Hartmann teaches two laboratory courses, one in Physical Anthropology that meets the university's core science requirement, and the other in forensic anthropology.
