Admission Requirements
To be admitted into the MIS master’s program, an applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree, with a minumum 2.5 overall undergraduate grade point average, and meet or exceed either of the following formulae:
200 * overall undergraduate GPA + GMAT score > 1020
200 * last 60 hours undergraduate GPA + GMAT score > 1080

In all cases the minimum acceptable overall GPA is 2.5 and GMAT socre is 420. (GRE will be accepted using the GMAT equivalents as established by ETS by using the most current GRE/GMAT comparison tool.) Exceptions may be made for applicants who have passed a rigorous professional certification exam or who have five years of substantial relevant professional experience.
International students must have a score of 550 or more on the paper based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Applicants should submit a UALR graduate application, official transcripts from all schools attended, and the official GMAT score report from ETS.
Applicants are urged to have their applications and all supporting material in by the priority deadline of August 1st for fall admission and by December 1st for spring admission.
