Master of Public Administration

Graduate

To graduate from the MPA program requires the successful completion of 39 credit hours, i.e., 24 credit hours of core courses and 15 hours of elective courses.  A student must have at least a 3.0 GPA in all graduate course work. Students admitted to the program should follow the Recommended Course Sequences guide for the MPA program to map out their program of study.  Each semester students should update the Student Course Information form to track their progress in the program.  Student advisement occurs every semester on a formal basis with the submission of the advisement form .  A student’s progress in the program is assessed midway through the program and again at the culmination of the capstone project.  Students are eligible for graduation at the successful completion of the 39 credit hour program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.  Students are required to subscribe to the MPA listserv to receive updated information about the program.
