Minority Student Advocacy

Welcome!

Minority students currently make up over 30% of the population at UALR. The Diversity Programs department provides support for all persons recognized by the Congress of the United States of America as under-represented minorities. It is hoped that the information contained within this site will serve as a general reference and resource to all who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding about the Diversity Programs department at UALR. All students interested in learning and growing in the spirit of multiculturalism are invited to stop by the Office of Campus Life, Donaghey Student Center, Room 216.Get Involved!
The University also provides support for students through involvement in such organizations as:United Black Students Association, League of United Latin American Citizens, Japanese American Cultural Organization, Manataka American Indian Student Organization, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Association of Black Journalists, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Iota Phi Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, Sigma Gamma Rho, and Zeta Phi Beta.
