Master in Business Administration

Program Requirements

The MBA program consists of a minimum of 30 credit hours (10 courses) and a maximum of 48 credit hours (16 courses). Only the Core Courses (10) are required of students with undergraduate degrees in business from AACSB-accredited institutions. All others must fulfill the 18 hours of Foundation requirements (6 courses) prior to entering the Core Courses.Thriving City Foundation requirements may be met by successfully completing the Foundation Courses or by having some of those courses waived and completing the remainder. A waiver for a Foundation Course will be granted to a student who has completed an equivalent undergraduate course with a grade of C or better or graduate course with a grade of B or better at an appropriately accredited institution.

Electives:

A broad range of electives from each discipline allow students to design their individual programs to either specialize in a particular area of business, or study across multiple disciplines.

We know that completing the MBA program in a timely fashion is important to you. That is why we offer the core courses every fall and spring semester and the foundation courses at least once a year. Each course is offered on the same night every time so you can plan your program knowing that course scheduling conflicts will not slow you down.
