UPCOMING EVENTS

On Monday, May 16, 2005 PBS will broadcast "Time of Fear,"
the documentary commissioned for Life Interrupted, as part of their Asian Pacific American Heritage month programming. Please double-check your local listings for time and date, but in most of the country the hour-long film will run at 10pm EDT, 9pm CDT, 8pm MDT, and 7pm PDT. Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to watch this important chapter of Japanese American and Arkansas history.

Through the good work of Ambrica Productions, our partner on the documentary, "Time of Fear" is now available for sale through PBS Home Video. You can purchase it in either DVD or VHS format, just click right here. Profits from the film will help to establish interpretive signage at the camps, continue our educational programs, and restore the cemetery and monuments at Rohwer.

To facilitate our mission of educating the future about the past we have placed the fabulous curriculum units developed by the Life Interrupted Master Teachers along with the UALR Public History program and the Japanese American National museum on their own website. Send your children, your grandchildren, or their teachers to: http://www.ualr.edu/lifeinterrupted/curriculum/index.asp to download the materials.
