I have to say that I am very pleased with the way that my personal website is looking. I have all the links that I want, and now I just need to finish putting my content in. Eventually, I would like to change the banner that I have right now, and go for something a little more professional with a headshot of me. Something similar to what you have on your site would be good.
The first thing I want to do on Tuesday when we start class is to burn the CD with my personal site as my portfolio. I hope that I am able to do it correctly and that everything shows up right on the CD. It will be very cool to have my site right there, available for anyone to see on their own computer. This is something that I believe will be very helpful in the future, when I start to look for a job.
Regarding possible names for our school site, I agree that something like “The Rock Report,” sounds like a cool name. I think it would appeal to both students and people in the community. Having the word “Rock” in there is a very good idea because as you said, we want this site to be a place not only for students, but for the entire Little Rock community to visit.
If we went with something that had the word “Trojan,” the site would generate interest with students. But I’m not sure that it would appeal to people outside the UALR campus in the same way. They might feel that the site’s focus is only on school issues,
