I feel good about the work I was able to do this week in and out of class. It was a good idea to eliminate my flash buttons, and just add text instead. As you said, those buttons were causing more problems than good. I also think that my site looks better now that I’ve taken the buttons out.

I’m still thinking of maybe adding a few more links to my site, and increasing my content. I’ll try to get some new content ready for next week, and add it to the site. Like I told you today, in the future I would like to maybe add some video as well as pictures to my site. I’m thinking that a page where I could put all of my work from other classes like news stories, videos and pictures would be a good idea.

As for the policies for uploading material into the site, I agree that we should have people register with their full name, phone number and email address for activation of their account. I think that we should implement some way of examining the material that has been uploaded as soon as it is, so that we can make sure that isn’t obscene or something like that.

We could also have a system where any uploaded material would not be available for the public, until we approve it. I’m not sure how this would work, but it seems to me that it would be a good way of making sure that the material is proper before our visitors can see it. We could also put a warning that any obscene material would be cause for penalties, especially if they are UALR students.
