I am glad to say that I was finally able to activate my account, thanks to the email that you sent out to all of us on Wednesday. In the end, it was very easy to follow the instructions and log into my account. Thanks to the activation, I was able to upload my personal website into the school’s server. I have to say it was cool to see all my work there for everyone in the school to see. There’s still a lot of work to do, but I think that I have the basics down, and I look forward to start exploring and working on new things to add to my site.

For my community based/Individual project, I was thinking of doing a story on the Arkansas Foodbank Network. I would cover what the organization is about, how they work, and any events that they are planning for the future. I plan to do a series of interviews with members of the organization and volunteers. Get a few pictures, and maybe some video. I would like to put together the interviews along with the pictures, and create a narrative with illustrations.

I’m not really that sure about the name for our creative web site for the class. I know I would like it to be something that appeals to students, and that is interactive, so that students can feel that they are a part of the site. A name like “Interact,” or “Round-Table,” could work maybe. As far as the links go, I would like to see a lot of multi-media on the site. Those are the usually the sites that I enjoy the most. A forum page would be good also, to allow students to participate and tell us about the issues that they care about.
