Reflexive Journal 3

After this week, I’m finally starting to feel a little more comfortable with Dreamweaver. I was finally able to get the basic layout for my personal website. At this moment I have four pages, plus the index page, and I think that’s a good start. I’ll probably be making some changes as the course goes on, adding some content, and a couple of more pages.
There were still a couple of things that I didn’t remember how to do, like duplicating the page and making a good banner for example. It was nice again to be able to get help and advice when I needed it. I’m still only a beginner, so I appreciate all the help I can get. Hopefully, I’ll be able to be a little bit more independent by the end of the class.
I was nice to be able to work on Photoshop, and learn how to make a cool banner using all the different layers. I have to admit, it got to be a little complicated at times during Tuesday’s class. Nevertheless, I think I was able to come out with a good banner for my website. I hope to make some changes and improved on my banners as the year goes on.
On Thursday, I was very much confused when I tried to work on Photoshop again. I just couldn’t remember all the steps required to work on the banner. I really appreciate getting that hand-out on Photoshop that you supplied to us. I’ll take a close look at it during this weekend, so I won’t get confused again during class.
I look forward to coming to class on Tuesday, and building on my personal website. I still need to figure out how to link my buttons to my new pages. I hope to get some help on that, and to keep learning about the cool things that Dreamweaver and Photoshop allow you to do.
