Monkey See Monkey Do

As Creatrix of a lower-order reality (this website), I want to welcome you to my little world here. It would not have been possible without the help of a few other deities and she-roes in the divine pantheon -- that is, with the help of some of my classmates. (Thanks to them all.) Since my own efforts could best be described in terms of monkeying around, it seemed fitting to lay out the content of this site to focus on exactly that: one of the most captivating and comical creatures to scamper through the world of the imagination, the monkey. The monkey as she/he appears in folktales, literature, music, idiomatic expression, (in lit crit even!) and in other leafy and green places, holds up a mirror to human culture -- to each of us, in fact.
