Preparing Students for Careers and Leadership in Health Services Administration

Important: Fall 2006 Applications for Admission to the Health Services Administration Program are now being processed through the UAMS College of Public Health.

For more information please contact Stephen Foti, Coordinator for External Programs by phone at 501-526-6652 or 526-6643 or by email at sffoti@uams.edu.

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR:

I sincerely appreciate your interest in the Masters of Health Service Administration Program. This is an exciting time for us as we transition from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. All of our students are now attending classes at UAMS in the transition year but are registered at UALR. We expect this arrangement to last until July 1, 2006, when new students will register through UAMS.

Our Program is the only CAHME accredited program in the State of Arkansas. The program itself has not changed, and we expect it to grow in our new surroundings.

We invite you to come join our program. We will prepare you for a career in healthcare administration. Our graduates are employed by hospitals, medical clinics, managed care firms, health insurance firms and in many other health related fields. Salaries are in line with other well paid managerial occupations.

As you search our website, I welcome any questions or comments it may stimulate. You may send them to me at amuller@uams.edu.
