Allergy Shots
Students and employees, 18 years or older who are receiving injections to lessen or control their allergy symptoms, may be eligible to receive their allergy shots in the Health Services office.
In order to receive allergy shots in Health Services, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years or older and under the care of a M.D. for your allergies.
- Be on a maintenance does (no longer increasing amount or strength of extract).
- Supply Health Services with the following:
- Your allergists' name, address, phone number, and office hours.
- Prescribed maintenance schedule, any special instructions, and date of last injection.
- Your extract; we will supply the syringes, band-aids, etc.
- Be prepared to wait in the Health Services office for 20 minutes following your injection.
- Allergy shots are usually only administered between 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
No appointment necessary.
- The cost is $3 per injection, which can be paid monthly or by the semester. Pay at the cashier's office after talking to the nurses at Health Services.
