1. FUEL ESTIMATES COMPUTATIONS: This project is to compute the fuel needed for three types of airplanes, and the cost of the fuel.
  • You must do all computations using formulas, and do a chart. Use Cell Names, rather than values.
  • Use Page Layout/Setup to adjust the margins, and the page orientation.
  • Put your name in the Title line, after "Fuel Estimates". Use Merge and Center to center this title over the columns A through H.
  • Make the background of the title in row 1, and the heading rows (3 and 15) a light blue, with bold black text. Use a sans serif font. Use row numbers exactly as specified in these instructions!
Note the following:
  • Cols. D - H and Rows 11-13: Enter correct formulas here, for (Flying Fuel, Reserve Fuel, Holding Fuel, Total Fuel Needed and Estimated Fuel Cost). Also use "functions" as appropriate for Totals, Averages and Maximums.
  • Rows 15 to 20: Cell names from these rows will be Absolute Cell References, both column and row (F4 key after your type the cell reference, or enter the $ signs manually)
2. GRAPH/CHART: Select cells A3:B10 (Plane and Flight). Hold down the "Control" key and select D3:D10. Hold down the "Control" key and select G3:G10. Create a column chart and position it in a pleasing way under the data for the flight.

3. SUBMIT VIA Blackboard: Go to BB.UALR.Edu - first login with your "NetID", then go to "Assignments". Submit this assignment.
