We arrived at the station well before the train did. Our friends, John and Jonthy Williams were also there. John and Jonthy were usually ready to go on any adventure at the drop of a hat, whether to Keo, try out a new restaurant, ie the Star of India, a Trav game or a table for 4 at the Bella Rosa on New Year's eve. Andy admired and respected their relationship. He enjoyed their honesty, their humor and above all, felt honored to be around two people who loved each other so much. Their relationship seemed to be timeless, as if it has existed forever. The ease, the matter-of-fact yet attentive manner in which they communicated, was unique, considering the short period of their relationship. A relationship so grounded usually is realized only after many more than 15 years of marriage.

This train is magnificant! A jewel-eyed 'molten monster'! If it ever comes back, go take a look-they don't make trains like this anymore...

As I have just decided that this page is for John, Jonthy and Andy, I will have to find more of the pictures...I miss them...but check back later..."the best is yet to come..." Thanks for looking....
