What's at This Site?

UALR is committed to assisting students applying for nationally recognized scholarships and fellowships. Included at this site are some general remarks about applying for such awards and overviews of a few of the more prestigious ones. Most scholarships covered are for the support of study after the bachelor's degree, but a few are for undergraduate work.

Included for each scholarship are a statement of the purpose for which the sponsoring institution is underwriting the funding; an overview of the eligibility requirements; some remarks on important features of the written application; a description of the application process and summary of deadlines; and the person on campus to contact for further information. You'll also find e-mail links to the campus representatives and links to other relevant websites.
