The Office of Facilities and Services handles all issues dealing with insurance for the university. This includes providing insurance for university vehicles, property, and university sponsored student travel. Health insurance for employees and other fringe benefits are handled through the Office of Human Resources .
As employees and students of the university we have a responsibility to work together to ensure that this is a safe place to work and learn.
There are also a number of steps you can take to limit risk to personal and university property. Always lock personal belongings such as purses and cell phones in a secure location. Establish a routine for securing your area at the end of the day. Identify who will be responsible for locking the office at the end of the day, and a back up in case that individual is out of the office.
If you see repairs that need to be made on campus notify Physical Plant at 569-3390.
If you see someone on campus who seems out of place or whose behavior is threatening, notify Public Safety immediately by calling 569-3400.
