Internet Optimizer

My browser takes me to a search engine when I try to log in.

The most likely cause is that you have an internet optimizer installed. To fix this problem, go to the Tools menu on your Internet Explorer browser.

Select Internet Options.

Select the Advanced tab

Scroll down in the browsing section until you see "Show friendly HTTP error messages." Remove the check in the box, and make sure the box for "Show Friendly URLs" is not checked.

Click Apply then OK to apply the changes. Then try logging in again.
