McAfee AntiVirus Distribution
UALR is pleased to announce that McAfee VirusScan Software is available to all enrolled students for personal, non-commercial use. McAfee is one of the leading virus protection software applications in the world and protects against viruses and Trojan horses, as well as malicious ActiveX and Java Applets. Infected files are quarantined before they damage your system.
Your STUDENTS domain login and password are required in order to download McAfee VirusScan. Use of the software is restricted to personal computers only.
If you have problems with downloading the software, please call or visit one of the Computing Services Student Labs to obtain assistance.
Computing Services is located in the Old Student Union Building - room 205 and may be contacted at 569-3345. The Library Lab is in Room 104 on the first floor of the Library and may be contacted at 569-8727. A second student lab is in SUA 105 and may be contacted at 569-8726.
You must be a student attending or enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR).
You agree to only install McAfee on a single personal computer owned by yourself or your immediate family at your residence for non-business. Please do not share your license with others. Downloads will be logged and monitored for suspected abuse.

You are granted a single user license for a term of one (1) year beginning August 1, 2007.
License is restricted to use during the term of attendance at UALR.
Use of the software is at your own risk. If you encounter problems with installation or use of the product then please contact a local computer repair facility. Computing Services cannot repair your personal computer.
Please be sure to uninstall any existing anti-virus programs before installing the McAfee anti-virus product. To begin the download, choose your operating system and check the box signifying you agree with the listed terms. You will need to enter your STUDENTS domain username and password in the pop-up authentication box.
We support:Windows 98/ME - Download is in ZIP format. Unzipping software, such as WinZip or Zip Reader, will be needed to extract the installation files.
Windows 2000/XP - Download is in EXE format and can be executed without extra software.
Mac OS X - Download is in DMG format and should mount to the desktop for installation.
