Making Copies for Myself or to Give to Others.

  1. Classroom Guidelines
  2. Library Copyright Policy and Guidelines
  3. Library statement about following basic law ( East Mich.)
    • Interlibrary loan ( ILL ): Access to journal articles through ILL are not meant to substitute for purchase or subscription to the work. Under the guidelines for Title 17, Subsection 108 (g) (2), limitations restrict the number of free copies that may be requested from each journal each year. Libraries, including Ottenheimer Library, may request no more than five articles per year from a single journal title within five years of the date of the first request that year. And one person cannot get two free copies from the same journal issue. Additional copies may be ordered but the requestor will be charged according to the established use fee. Sound confusing? Imagine the record keeping nightmare!
