UA Little Rock Commencement
Things you need to know for your Spring 2024 Ceremony:
- The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Clear Bag Policy will be in effect.
- Metal Detectors will be in use at the doors of the Jack Stephens Center.
- No outside food or beverages are allowed into the Jack Stephens Center.
Location: Jack Stephens Center, Fisher Court
There will be two Spring 2024 commencement ceremonies held on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Ceremony 1 is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and Ceremony 2 is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

The UA Little Rock Clear Bag Policy is as follows:
- All bags will be screened/searched
- Bags must be clear plastic (can be ziploc), vinyl, or PVC, and cannot exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″
- Small clutch purses that are not clear are allowed but can not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″
- Persons carrying required medical supplies or devices into the arena are not subject to the clear bag policy, but their bags will be searched thoroughly
- Cloth diaper bags are not allowed. Items needed for children must be in a clear bag and are not to exceed the measurement specifications.
- *If the bag does not meet the specifications above it will not be permitted into the arena and must be returned to your vehicle*

Commencement Ceremony 1:
9:30 a.m.
Who:
This ceremony will feature undergraduate students from the Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics & College of Business, Health, and Human Services.
All graduates need to be at the Jack Stephens Center at least one hour before the ceremony begins. The Jack Stephens Center will open for guests at 8:00 a.m. Early arrival is recommended for guests.

Who:
The ceremony will feature undergraduate students from the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education undergraduates & all graduate students from the Graduate School.
All graduates need to be at the Jack Stephens Center at least one hour before the ceremony begins. The Jack Stephens Center will open for guests at 1:00 p.m. Early arrival is recommended for guests.
