Bailey
Foundation
Ted and Virginia Bailey’s valued partnership with UALR
includes financial support, community service initiatives,
and leadership on numerous boards and committees. The Baileys
served on UALR’s Board of Visitors and Foundation Fund
Board and founded Friends of the Arts and the Society of Philanthropy.
In addition to sponsoring the Faculty Excellence Award in
Teaching, the Baileys also financed the new alumni center
at UALR that is named for them. UALR is better able to support
its mission thanks to the Baileys’ generosity.
Bank of America
The Bank of America Foundation focuses its resources on helping
children and families succeed in life and helping neighborhoods
flourish. Bank of America is a major contributor to the Donald
W. Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development at
UALR, helping the University secure the needed matching funds
from the Reynolds Foundation. Over the years, Bank of America
has also supported the Trojan Foundation, the Trojan Education
and Scholarship Fund, and the Friday Sturgis Leadership Program.

PepsiAmericas
UALR reached an agreement with PepsiAmericas last year to
provide soft drinks and other beverages at UALR facilities
in a seven-year contract that will provide the University
over $2.2 million for athletics, student services, and scholarships.
In addition to the exclusive rights bonus and commissions
paid to student services and athletics, PepsiAmericas will
provide scholarships for non-traditional students, help sponsor
the Faculty Excellence Awards, establish an annual staff award,
and provide funds each year for the Staff Senate Helping Hands
Project.
