The College of Business Center for Career Development, Placement, and Student Services is an office with the goal in mind to help students find their ideal career, based upon their interests, motivational traits, personality, values, abilities, aptitudes, personal work style, and work environment preferences.
Our goal is to arm traditional or nontraditional students with the appropriate tools to make well-informed decisions about their careers that will ultimately result in employment that is right for them. We provide career development and placement support to College of Business students to help them identify viable career options and goals. We address career-related concerns such as finding employment and/or using the degree you have for your future career.
Through seminars, workshops, discussion panels, and other sessions, the College of Business offers opportunities to enhance your professional skills including resume writing and interviewing techniques. The college provides supplemental career advising to all business students including first-year, transfer, and upper-class students to help them achieve their goals.
The Center for Career Development, Placement, and Student Services helps students overcome barriers, provides opportunities for growth and development, and coordinates experiential learning to develop skills that will last a lifetime. Graduates will have a balanced portfolio of academic and career readiness to place them on a path to success.
