Research Interests

Cyclic Nucleotide Regulation Cellular Differentiation
Cellular Control Mechanisms

My research interests have been centered around calmodulin and the synthetic enzyme of cyclic AMP (adenylate cyclase) and the degradative enzyme (cAMP phosphodiesterase.) This lab has also included a study of cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase. My original work was in bovine brain tissue and the research has been expanded to include the acellular slime mold Physarum.
