  • Students Called to Active Duty

    Policy Statement

Issued by UALR Provost Office September 17, 2001.

As you may be aware, some UALR students are being called for active military duty.

Here are policies and procedures to be followed in such event:

    • A student called to active duty must present proof of activation by providing a copy of his/her orders to Mr. Curlee Robinson, Veterans Affairs Coordinator, in Administration South Building, Room 113.
    • Students who, due to military orders, withdraw from the university will be given a full refund of tuition and fees. Students who, due to military orders, drop some but not all courses will be given a full refund for tuition and fees related to the courses they drop. Decisions as to which option is best for the student will depend on the student’s personal details, the time remaining in the term, the portion of coursework completed at the time of military activation, and understandings which can be reached with the instructors.

Please contact the UALR Veterans Affairs Office (501-569-8171) with any questions.
