Admissions

Students over Age 60

Admitted UALR students over the age of 60 who are Arkansas residents may receive a waiver of all tuition and general student fees on a space-available basis. All other fees, including admissions, facilities, technology, health, athletic, business technology, and other specific fees will not be waived.

Students qualifying for this waiver will only be allowed to register on the last day of regular registration and during the late registration period.

Verification of age is required in the first semester.

How to qualify:

  1. Apply for admissions at http://apply.ualr.edu
  2. Submit proof of age - such as an Arkansas Driver’s License. A copy needs to be submitted to both the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid and to the Office of Student Accounts
  3. If degree seeking submit other required materials
  4. On last day of regular registration sign up for classes on BOSS using your UALR Trojan ID and Personal Identification Number
