Summer 1 and 2 - Non-freshmen Admissions Application Deadline

For Non Entering Freshmen - 4 p.m. on May 22, 2009 is the deadline to apply for admission for the Summer 1 and 2 2009 semesters

Freshmen - Summer 1 and 2 Registration Deadline

You may register for classes AFTER you are advised. All entering freshmen must be registered by

* Summer 1 - 4:00 p.m. on May 22, 2009
* Summer 2 - 4:00 p.m. on May 22, 2009
* Summer 3 - 4:00 p.m. on June 5, 2009
* Summer 4 - 4:00 p.m. on July 2, 2009
* Fall 2009 - 4:00 p.m. on August 19th for the fall semester. There will be NO late registration for entering freshmen.

When do classes begin?

* Summer 1 classes begin May 26th
* Summer 2 classes begin May 26th
* Summer 3 classes begin June 9th
* Summer 4 classes begin July 6th
* Fall classes begin August 20th.

After you have been accepted for admission you should contact your academic advisor to schedule an advising appointment. In order to be advised you will have to submit both your ACT/SAT scores and at least a 7th semester high school transcript. If you have taken college courses ,we will also need your college transcripts.

Summer 1 and 2 - Freshmen Admissions Application and Credential Deadline

For all Entering Freshman (First time Freshmen and Freshmen Transfers). The deadline to apply for admission is May 18, 2009 by 5 p.m.

The following items must also be submitted by the same deadline:

  • a final or 7th semester High School transcript / GED scores
  • official ACT/SAT scores
  • Official transcripts from each institution attended - if you have taken ANY college coursework
  • Immunization Record (showing proof of 2 MMR vaccines taken 30 days apart)

Summer 2009 - Financial Aid Priority Deadline

The following items must be complete by this date in order to allow time for your financial aid award eligibility to be determined prior to the start of summer classes:
1. Your 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
results must be received at UALR; and
2. All required documents must be received by UALR; and
3. You must be fully admitted
4. You must enroll for Summer classes and complete the summer financial aid form on BOSS in order to apply
